Hold to send an SOS, silently if needed
Press and hold SOS to send a high-priority alert and your location to your whole family. If you can't speak, silent SOS asks for help with no sound, vibration or confirmation screen.

Earthquake mode is not an early-warning system; it works after an earthquake. Earthquake data comes from AFAD's public earthquake service or, if it is unavailable, from EMSC. It covers Türkiye and nearby regions. Location Assist is not a government agency and is not affiliated with AFAD.

We never sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising. Your location, location history, messages and family details are shared only with your family.

To be completely open: the free plan shows one non-personalised ad space on the parent's screen, and there are no ads on a child's phone. The app uses Firebase / Google Analytics and Meta tools for usage statistics and ad measurement only with your consent; your location, name, phone number and messages are never sent to them.

No per-person pricing: one subscription for the whole family
Prices include VAT. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. If a free trial is offered, you're charged when it ends. To cancel, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions on iPhone, or Google Play > Payments & subscriptions on Android. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. No weekly plan.
Frequently asked questions
Is Location Assist free?
Yes. The live family map, SOS and silent SOS, earthquake mode, safe arrival and check-ins are on the free plan, with 2 places, 3 family members and 2 days of history. You can upgrade to Premium for more.
How much is Premium, and does it cover the whole family?
Premium is ₺149.99 a month or ₺1,199.99 a year (VAT included). One parent in the family subscribes and everyone in the family gets Premium; there is no per-person pricing. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Can I track someone without them knowing?
No. Location Assist has no hidden mode. While sharing is on, a notification or icon on the phone shows it, and everyone can see who sees their location on the “Who sees my location?” screen. Location is shared only by people who install the app and join the family themselves.
Can I stop sharing my location?
Yes. You can pause sharing with one tap whenever you like; your family sees that you paused it, and sharing is never turned back on secretly. If you leave a family, its members can no longer see your location.
How long is location history kept, and can I delete it?
Location history is shown for 2 days on the free plan and 30 days on Premium; it is kept on the server for up to 30 days and then deleted automatically. You can delete your history in the app whenever you like, or close your account with all your data.
Where is my data stored, and is it sold?
Location data is stored in a data centre in the European Union (Germany). We never sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising. See the Privacy Policy and KVKK Privacy Notice for details.
Does it work across iPhone and Android?
Yes. If some of your family use iPhone and some use Android, everyone appears on the same family map. iOS 15 or later and Android 7.0 or later are supported.
Does SOS call 112?
No. SOS sends a high-priority alert and your location to your whole family. You can also text your emergency contacts a live location link: the message opens pre-filled in your SMS app and you send it. SOS does not notify emergency services automatically; you can open the 112 call screen from the app.
How does earthquake mode work?
After an earthquake, family members in the affected area get an “Are you safe?” alert. Everyone answers in one tap and you see your family's status on one board. Does location sharing drain the battery?
Using location in the background can increase battery use somewhat. Location Assist automatically reduces location updates when the phone isn't moving, and battery levels are shown on the map.
